The one thing that I would say is that you would have to point out that he is saying yes with his body and no with his mind/heart, and in essence he is lying and lying is a bad/evil thing to do. Let our yes be yes and our no be no, as Jesus has told us. Another thing there are miracles and saint that had great gifts, kinda like superheros, for example bi-location. My wife and I teach 5/6th grade Catechism class, who are about your sons age and it is hard work to get them to focus on the truth of the faith but we do not dumb things down about faith.
