Yes, I do I have a lot of nerve suggesting a movie to you movie-going pros. You could have seen this years ago but I don’t remember you discussing it. I recently watched The Mission, a 1980’s movie set in The 1700’s. It stars Robert DeNiro and Jeremy Irons as Jesuits evangelizing in South America. No spoilers, but the final scene with Jeremy Irons processing with the monstrance may be permanently etched in my brain. And that is a good thing.
    Prayers for you all,

As far as kids watching….it depends on their maturity. Not much emphasis on clothing amongst the residents of the Amazon. The Jesuits were able to see beyond cultural differences and recognize fellow children of God. Kids and young teens? Not so much!
